We hadn’t quite thought through the timing of our visit to the Chihuly ‘Reflections on Nature’ exhibition at Kew Gardens. So, off we set, on May bank holiday Monday on a train full of excited small people and their adults all heading in the same direction. Of course it didn’t really matter, Kew Gardens is big enough for everyone and the exhibits were well spread out, on 12 sites with an exhibition of his smaller works in the Shirley Sherwood gallery. A lot of the exhibits are outside with more in the Water Lily house and in the Temperate House. The latter have the benefit of being viewed from ground level and the walkway above. At a leisurely stroll it took us a couple of hours, but we could easily have stayed longer. I’m not even going to attempt any superlatives, you’re going to have to go and see it yourselves! The exhibition is on until 27th October 2019.
